Kevin's children's book-themed birthday party was vibrantly colorful and every book lover's dream. With yellow, green, and white wooden arches and backdrops, the setup created the perfect photo opportunity for the birthday boy and guests to remember this celebration.

The colorful orange, red, purple, and blue balloons covering the arches gave the space a fuller, more festive look. Adding well-known storybook covers to the arches, along with a cutout of the brown bear from Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? and the mouse from If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, was the perfect finishing touch to the display.
At the back of the restaurant, guests admired the customized desserts on display at the fun dessert table. The table was complemented by a custom vinyl backdrop featuring beloved characters from children's storybooks, with my personal favorite being The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The vinyl backdrop was draped with navy blue curtains, adding the perfect accent to the already colorful display. The primary color cake stands, showcased the custom cupcakes, cake pops, and the amazing three-tiered cake. Shoutout to the amazing bakers at @SplurgeBakery for these desserts that tasted as good as they looked!
The kids were kept entertained with our soft play station, which included a ball pit, blocks, and more! They had plenty of space to run around and play thanks to your friends @EventsALennette, while the parents relaxed by the bar, enjoying food and drinks.
At the end of the celebration, guests received gift boxes filled with two custom decorative cookies inspired by If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and Corduroy. The cookie boxes were beautifully wrapped with a blue bow and displayed on a vibrant red party favor shelf. In addition to the cookies, each guest received a custom coloring book. Each page was more unique than the last, featuring fun elements like connect-the-dots, tic-tac-toe, and other interactive activities. The kids each received their own activity book and a set of crayons to enjoy on the car ride home or later at home.
This fun-filled theme was definitely one for the books! Not only was it colorful and fun, but it was also unique and an absolute joy to plan. A huge thank you to all my amazing vendors who helped bring this party together with me! I can’t wait for more fun in the future.
